Rebekah Clark is the Literary Director for Sanford Communications, Inc., representing more than 80 authors. She works closely with acquisitions editors at top Christian publishing houses and negotiates contracts on behalf of SCI authors. Rebekah joined the SCI team in 2004 as an Associate Editor and, since becoming Literary Director in 2006, has landed and negotiated contracts for more than two dozen new books. She thoroughly enjoys walking SCI authors through every step of the book publishing process, from idea development and proposal creation to finished manuscript and marketing strategies.

As an avid reader, Rebekah has always had a passion for great literature—particularly great Christian literature that affirms biblical values and impacts lives for eternity. Her current role as Literary Director has provided opportunities to further develop that passion while gaining inside experience in the Christian book publishing field.

Rebekah has been published in a variety of mainstream and Christian periodicals and has been a contributing author and editor for several books and Bible projects, including Luis Palau’s High Definition Life: Student Edition (Revell) and three BibleZines™ (Thomas Nelson). When she’s not busy managing authors and negotiating contracts, Rebekah consults and speaks at writers’ conferences.

She graduated with top honors from Corban College with a Bachelor's degree in English: Journalism and is now pursuing a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) at Northwest Christian College. Rebekah enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and traveling the world.
