About SCI's Agencies
Sanford Communications, Inc., has two agencies (literary and editorial), nine people on staff, and 45 new CBA and ABA titles published within the past 24 months. So far, we’ve landed contracts for more than 270 books and Bible projects, with 10 million copies in print in 36 languages (including a number of award finalists and winners). We also land contracts for CDs, DVDs, and other products.
We’ve worked closely with Zondervan, Tyndale, Thomas Nelson, and other highly respected Christian (CBA) publishers. We’ve also worked closely with Wiley & Sons, Simon & Schuster, Random House, and other mainstream New York (ABA) publishers.
All of our authors are leaders in one of more than a dozen spheres of life. More importantly, they’re all followers of Jesus Christ committed to making a difference in people’s lives through their books, speaking events, media interviews, and online ministry. Our authors have been featured this past year on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, and other TV networks. They’ve also been featured on more than 1,100 radio stations, more than 300 newspapers, and more than 230 blogs.
One of our 2006 releases hit #1
on BooksaMillion.com on its street date, hit #1 on Amazon.com the next
day, sparked a high profile media tour (including the New York talk show
circuit—twice), and made the “Advice, How-to, and Miscellaneous” The New
York Times best-seller list twice at #7. One of our 2007
releases rocketed to #2 on Amazon
and as high as #3 on The New York Times and sparked a highly
